David Dobbins is Founder and CEO of HITLOG, LLC (Human-In-The Loop LOGic).
His primary responsibilities include molding the vision for HITLOG, and developing business strategies. One key role is identifying strategic partners for building out a program to redefine shared robotic solutions.
David got his start in the military, in critical security, and executive protection. Also, as an accomplished pilot, he served multiple tours contracted to remote unmanned aerial-surveillance programs in the Middle East and South Asia. This experience in remote robotic operations helped identify certain operational deficiencies – which inspired his landmark patent for managing sharable remotely-operated sensor-carrying vehicles, with an overriding failsafe.
Though trained as a Combat Engineer and heavy-equipment operator, David later excelled as a design engineer with multiple utility patents. In the 90's he formed a system-integration and service company for reverse-engineering – an early solution partner for SolidWorks CAD. David is an American University alumnus majoring in International Studies, has travelled extensively, continues to fly, and has a passion for humanitarian outreach to our underserved world community.
